Jamorama is a guitar lesson program developed by Ben Edwards and his team of guitar experts. The course is more targeted towards beginners and intermediate players who are struggling to reach the next step in their guitar playing. So, even if you just picked up a guitar and have no idea where to start, the program can help you to begin the lessons right from scratch. Ok, let’s see if it’s really true. Just read below my Jamorama review.

The guitar course consists of two books with 44 total lessons and a bunch of supplemental video lessons and audio files consist of jam tracks. All these teach step-by-step of how to play the guitar until you are good at it. Personally, I found the program really well-structured and simple to follow along. There is a great deal of illustrations, exercises, examples, tips of mastering the guitar and lots of useful information how to avoid mistakes as well as what to do and in what order. Now if you ask me, there are still some things Jamorama can’t be good at. I’m going to explain them in my Jamorama review right now. Most importantly, if you consider yourself an advanced guitar user, you should try to find something else. Obviously, the program will move way too slowly for you.
What’s more, guitar players with dial up might have problems with downloading, as the lessons are quite large and it will be frustrating to download over a 56k modem.
Another thing I experienced myself is that after finishing the whole course you might be disappointed when you come to the speed and, for example, the metallica techniques. A very good thing for me was to learn certain parts of certain songs that I liked, such as the solo in Sanitarium by Metallica. Besides that, it could be just a section of a song, a certain riff or fill that I like. Then I just began to pick things up along the way.
